Bob Nuttall

A Master of American Karate and a Recognized Master of Tae Kwon Do, Bob Nuttall has been training since the 1960's. Beginning as a full contact and point contact competitor, he has proceeded to officiate, judge, and promote tournament events. Mr. Nuttall has instructed thousands in self-defense and rape prevention through classes and seminars state wide. He continues to instruct county, city, state, and federal law enforcement officials. Bob's national karate exposure is comprised of multiple magazine, video, radio, and television appearances.

Bob founded his own karate studio in 1972 and expanded it in 1985 into the Health Forum, a state-of-the-art full service health and fitness facility located in Weatherford, Texas.

The Martial Arts Congress selected Bob as one of its first members. He also serves on the Executive Board of the Texas Amateur Contact Kickboxing Association. He was awarded Who's Who in Karate (1982) and Instructor of the Year (1984).

Affiliated with the American Karate Black Belt Association, Bob was appointed Rules Commissioner (1983), Vice President (1985), and his studio was awarded Studio of the Year in 1985. Currently, Mr. Nuttall serves with Mr. Pat Burleson and Mr.Walt Mason on the Board of Governors for the AKBBA, which is a lifetime appointment.

His tireless efforts and dedication to civic development include memberships to the Boards of the American Heart Association, United Way, Parker County Nutrition Council, and Lions Club. He was named One of the Outstanding Young Men in America in 1985 and recipient of Weatherford's Good Neighbor Award in 1987. Distinguished long-term achievements have gained Mr. Nuttall Congressional and Presidential recognition.

Bob Nuttall's most profound influence is the inspiration and motivation of children and adults who are learning karate, respect, and self-esteem from a true master of American Karate.
